About the Conference
The International Conference for Hyperemesis Gravidarum (ICHG 2026) brings together patients, researchers, healthcare professionals, and advocates from around the world to improve understanding, treatment, and support for HG.
This unique global event is more than a medical conference — it’s a collaborative space where lived experience and scientific research stand side by side. Together, we aim to drive forward change in care, policy, and research for HG.
Whether you’ve experienced HG personally, work to support those who have, or are investigating its causes and treatments — we invite you to be part of this vital conversation.

BURSARY APPLICATIONS OPEN now
We are committed to making ICHG 2026 accessible to a broad, global community.
The ICHG will offer bursaries to support travel expenses for:
Individuals with a lived experience of HG
Advocacy organisation leaders
Researchers
Healthcare professionals and clinicians
Participants from underrepresented backgrounds
Additional support available to those facing financial barriers, including student researchers.
Priority for full bursaries including accommodation and registration costs will be given to applicants from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
If cost is a concern, we encourage you to apply — we want to make it possible for you to attend.
👉 Bursary applications will start on the 15th August for those from LMICs. All other applicants can apply from the 1st October.

Medication trials
Update on medication research and ongoing trials. Panel discussion on prophylactic and curative approaches.

Nutrition
Nutrition is central to HG care. Our speakers will present on the consequences of nutritional deficiencies and propose guidelines and advice for patients and clinicians.

Join us for an interactive session where patients take the stage and challenge the community for better care in HG.

Breakout sessions will be organised on research, clinical care, and patient involvement.
Abstract presentations
Oral presentations are yet TBD but will help shape the programme further. Poster abstract participants will also have the opportunity to present their work during several poster sessions.

Like other iterations of ICHG, ICHG 2026 will put a strong focus on interaction, networking, and patient involvement. Benefiting from a unique and remote location, this year’s ICHG will further offer the opportunity to network and exchange around common meals and evenings, as well as spa sessions in the wonderful Norwegian nature.
