Abstracts Now Open
Share your work at ICHG 2026
We invite researchers, clinicians, students, advocates, and people with lived experience to submit abstracts for the International Conference for Hyperemesis Gravidarum (ICHG 2026), taking place in Bergen, Norway, 19–20 May 2026.
We are pleased to offer whole and partial bursaries for presenters selected to join the conference. We also encourage you to explore funding opportunities through your institution, and we will be happy to provide a supporting letter if needed.
This is your opportunity to:
Share new findings and innovations in hyperemesis gravidarum (HG)
Contribute to the evidence base that shapes research, policy, and clinical care
Gain feedback from an international audience, including experts and patient representatives
Build networks and collaborations across research, advocacy, and healthcare
Key Dates
Abstract submission opens: 1st September 2025
Abstract submission closes: 30th November 2025
Late-breaking abstract deadline: March 2026 (details to follow)
Notification of acceptance: 31st December 2025
Presentation Formats
Abstracts may be considered for:
Oral presentations (10–15 minutes with Q&A)
Poster presentations (with a 2–3 minute discussion during judging)
Workshops (if applicable to your submission)
Final allocation is decided by the Scientific Committee based on abstract scores.
Eligibility
We welcome abstracts from:
Researchers (at all career stages)
Clinicians and all healthcare professionals
Students and trainees
Advocacy groups and individuals with lived experience involved in research or projects
Presenting authors must register for the conference if accepted.

Abstracts must be structured (250–400 words) and include:

Study design
Methods
Results
Conclusion
Patient and Public Involvement (PPI)
Conflict of interest and funding statements

Judging and Selection
All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, which includes experts and patient representatives. Scoring is based on relevance, novelty, methodological quality, clarity, PPI involvement, and impact.
